Artsy Thursday

This afternoon saw me playing in the scrap space yet again. I was wanting to tackle the Princess Crown kit from Live With Prima so I pulled all the supplies down off the shelf and laid them out as I got the archived ustream ready to go. The only part I was wary of was the actual making the crown template. Once I got that out of the way the rest was easy! Merely a matter of arranging flowers and leaves to my hearts content. I love the final product and I am planning on encasing it in a glass jar for my scrap space...something girly & pretty to look at.

I have also finished off another flower pot for a friend. She requested it in different colourings then mine...so I went about getting it made this week and I actually kinda like it in the new colours LOL!

I am enjoying the creative process once again this is true but I have to admit I am enjoying projects as opposed to pages these days. I no longer have to make my life look amazingly pretty on paper to convince myself that it is...because my life is wonderful and is truly balanced with all the beautiful things life offers that my crafting time is now a wonderful process of creativity and not therapy.

I am now off work til Tuesday due to some minor issues so I am hoping to get some quality craft time in and my daughter has asked if I can teach her how to make a shadow box over the weekend ..so that will be lovely mother daughter time.
