HAPPY MONDAY!!!!

Whoever said Mondayitis is really silly. I know Mondays can really be rotten for most of us but my Monday (particularly today!) is awesome! I get to share a project with you all that I have had to keep relatively quiet for almost 2 months PLUS some news that I have had to keep quiet for a couple of weeks. So here goes....

If you have paid close attention to the sidebar over there -----> you will have seen a new blog button/blinkie. I am now on the DT over at Your Memories Here. Those that have known me for a while, particularly those from back in Australia will remember that I was on DT's for a couple of stores back there a few years ago BUT when my life turned into chaos I took a self imposed sabbatical from the scrapping world. I barely kept up with anything even remotely current and buried my head in the sand while I made my life a better place to live in and got myself happy (I also moved 10,000miles to the USA to be with my husband in there somewhere lol) Once I settled here in the Ohio I managed to start pushing paper around a little bit and because I had left my ginormous stash back in AUS (donated it all to a church mother's craft group...and boy were they super amazed at the donation!) I was looking to start building up my supplies somewhat. I found YMH and the rest is history. I loved the products in stock and the fact that Kristina has superb customer service. Sooooo when the DT call went out for her store I ummed and aahed over putting myself out there like that again. I figured why not and well...it paid off...cos I got the super happy news of being accepted onto the DT :) I so look forward to the months ahead of playing with gorgeous product and making new friends through the other amazing talents on the DT. We will be posting things every day of the week on the blog, which you can find HERE. I will be posting every Sunday, so keep your eyes peeled for whatever mayhem from my craft space that will make an appearance.

For now here is the Mannequin I submitted as part of my application for the DT call.
LOTS of Prima goodness in this and just as much hot glue too lol. Now I just need to find somewhere for it to hang/sit aside from in the corner of my scrap desk.

Also today is exciting because it was my first day back at my old job! Why go back...well I was made an offer that I could not have said no too if I wanted too. I loved this job and the people there too...yes I work in a mans world (automotive industry) BUT I love my job! So now I am going to be juggling full time work as well as playing with papers,flowers and hot glue and my gorgeous family....TIME MACHINE PLEASE!

Anyway..I best be off...need to cook supper and I want to play in the craft space to get my hubby's challenge off my desk tonight..so look out for it later in the week here.
